#5YearsEssentist: How to Join Our 5th Anniversary Story

Five years ago, we started ESSE ACTIVE with a simple idea — to be active. Since then, we've watched that idea grow into something bigger: Beyond Activewear.

This month, we want to hear it from you. #5YearsEssentist is our way of collecting the real, everyday moments our community has lived in ESSE ACTIVE — and thanking a few of you with a piece we made just for this occasion: the limited-edition 5th Anniversary tank.

Here's everything you need to know.

How to Join

1. Wear it. Any ESSE ACTIVE piece — old or new, from any collection.

2. Share it. Post a photo or short video on Instagram or TikTok. It can be a workout, a commute, a rest day, a quiet morning stretch — whatever your 24 hours look like in ESSE ACTIVE.

3. Tag us. Include the hashtag #5YearsEssentist and tag @esseactivesg in your caption. Make sure your account is set to public so we can actually see your post.

That's it — no purchase necessary, no entry form to fill out.

What We're Looking For

We're not looking for a specific pose or a perfect shot. We're looking for real moments — the ones that show what ESSE ACTIVE actually looks like in your day. A few ideas, if you're stuck:

• A sunrise stretch before the day starts
• A commute fit check
• A rest-day outfit that's still doing its job
• The post-workout, still-glowing photo you almost didn't post

Honest beats polished. That's genuinely what we're hoping to see.

How Selection Works

This isn't a lucky draw, and it isn't a leaderboard of likes.

Our team will be reading through #5YearsEssentist submissions on a rolling basis throughout the campaign. When we come across a post that resonates with us — because of the story behind it, the moment it captures, or simply how it makes us feel — we'll reach out to you directly by DM to arrange sending a tank.

Because this is a limited-edition run, selected tanks are sent out first come, first served, while stock lasts. Once we're out, we're out — we won't be producing more. Posting doesn't guarantee a tank, but every post we see genuinely means something to us, whether or not it's selected.

• Eligibility: Open to anyone who has purchased any ESSE ACTIVE product, wherever you're based — with a public Instagram or TikTok account.
• How you'll be contacted: If your post is selected, we'll DM you directly from @esseactivesg. We'll never ask for payment or sensitive personal information beyond your delivery address and size — please be cautious of anyone else claiming to contact you on our behalf.
• What you'll need to provide: Your size and delivery address, so we can get your tank to you.
• Shipping: Free worldwide shipping on your 5th Anniversary tank.

A Small Thank You

We made 100 of these tanks. Some have already gone to a few long-time friends who've supported us since 2021. The rest, we wanted to save for this — a way of saying thank you to whoever's willing to share their story with us this month.
